postgraduate studies...

Hello people!!

Today I´m gonna tell you about postgraduates studies. I believe that the opportunity to study a master is a great opportunity, and allows you to specialize and develop the most specific topics that may interest you more.

Also, if you study in another country it allows you to travel, know other places and also know the idiosyncrasies of the different places.

I have many friends who continued studying in other countries, such as Mexico, Germany or England, and what they told me, it was a memorable experience, It also means increasing your income level, and that's a real motivation...

I think that if I had to choose a subject to continue my university studies, it would be social innovation, with programs of social design and creation of new social conditions that increased creativity, equity, social justice, inclusivity, etc.... But I know that these courses are very expensive and it is difficult to win a scholarship. In addition, I could not leave Chile either, because I have a son, and I don´t want to go without him (when I've mentioned to him, he really dislike the idea)... I can´t live without him... therefore, I think that this type of issue is something prohibitive for me (the best courses in that subject are in England or United States). However, I support mothers who take the option of leaving their maternity for a while, while pursuing their personal goals

My future job

Hi everybody!!!
In this session I'd like to tell you about my dreamed job. Some aspects of this job are a little complicated, but, a dream is a dream, isn´t?. I'd always hoped to work as a volunteer in a 3rd world country (more 3w than our country), like Africa, or Guatemala.
something like this, but without the guitar
I know, for now, that´s a little unrealistic, so, I think that dream will have to wait a little (maybe when I get really old).

I think that the job I'd like to have when I'll finish my under graduate program, is something related with Social Innovation. I know that the old ways of doing things couldn't fix social problems, like poverty and vulnerability, so, we must to think new formulas, involved new actors... Ideally, in a place with unconventional schedules and unstructured work environment (like Googles facilities).
This is my ideal work environment (Who doesn't?)

I don´t expect to travel a lot for work, I prefer to have the time to travel for holidays, for pleasure, with my kid, and I don´t expect real big incomes, I'm a simple person and I really don´t need any luxuries.
Therefore, I'd like to study a major related with innovation, because it is a super closed and exclusive world, but there are so expensive, so, I think that will have to wait too.
For now, I'm already working in it, because I have my own start up called LiliApp, oriented to trans people (I´m living my dream, because is a non profit innovation, so, it´s like volunteering jaja).  I hope you hear about Lili soon.

凛として時雨 or my favorite band

It`s hard for me make favorite things lists. When people ask me about my favorite movie, or song, or music band I feel a little lost. I may remember the first band or singer that I liked. In that case, I think it was Michael Jackson or someone like this. But I don`t like him now. Besides, I like a lot of different style of music, since María Callas to reggaeton (except trash music, heavy metal), and a lot of bands.
So, when people ask me that question, I inmediatly think about my favorite band in THAT moment. And, in this moment, my favourite band is "Ling Tosite Sigure", and "TK from Ling Tosite Sigure" (This is the vocalist's solo band).

Their music is difficult to explain, even more, I think I don`t have idea the name of this type of music. But I loved them from the first time I listened their songs.

I knew this band, because they made the openning of one of my favorite anime: Tokyo Ghoul, in fact, I interested in Tokyo Ghoul because its openning. The song's name is Unravel (better known as "oshiete"), and It's like TK singing direct from his heart. It has whispers and screams in the same song, like an organized chaos... And the Lyrics, omg, are so deep and beautiful...
They are japanese, so, I don`t have any expectations of seeing them In Chile soon (or ever). Even in Latinoamerica.

It`s hard for me to choose my favourite song, but I think it may be Katharsis, also an openning (I sang this song so many times that I finally learn the lyrics... In japanese haha), and .Abnormalize, and Ilussion is mine. and... (haha I really can`t)

If you feel curious:

Extra and sad information: I don`t know anyone else who like them (in person)...

pets are the best!!!

Hi everyone!!!

In my life I've had many pets, but the best was always the doggies. My first dog was Dinki. She was the best dog in the world, because she was super smart and she went swimming with us in the lakes. Besides, she was a free dog, because she could leave our house whenever she wanted, so, she was often on the street hanging around, but always came back to us, every day. She lived with us by her own decision.
Sometimes she would enter to other people's houses and steal things to gave us as a present. I swear it's true, one day she gave me a Barbie. That habit made my mom very angry and that was very funny to see.

Chiqui with my nephew

The second dog I had was Chiqui. She was the sweetest dog ever. She died in my arms, at the vet, while we waited for her surgery, since she'd become really sick. She was 10 years old. I suffered so much that I never wanted to have a dog anymore. I still get pretty sad when I remember her.

However, when my son turned 5 years old, he was going through a difficult time and people told me that a pet could help him, so, Luna came to our home. And we adore her, even when she escapes from us whenever she can.

Even when I had tourtles, guinea pigs, hamsters, goldfish, etc. I think that the best suited animal to be pet is the dog, because nobody gets so so happy every time he or she see you, than the dog. They never get mad at you, they always move their tails when they hear your voice, and they`re always warm (so helpful in winter).

A few days ago, I saw a video with an otter in it, and she (or he) was in a backyard, with no grass, and a little plastic pool, in wich the otter tried to swim. But it coudn't. I think we have to oppose to animal traffic, that implides refusing to buy any exotic animals.

They`re not happy in our homes.
Here you can learn about this:Their cuteness is killing them: https://www.worldanimalprotection.ca/news/why-you-shouldnt-share-cute-pet-otter-video

The best holiday of my life!!!

With no doubt the best holiday I've ever been to was a trip to Galapagos islands.

Isabela Island

It was in 2016, and I went with my son, who, at the time, was only 8 years old. Therefore, I was a little insecure if he could do all the tours and activities, but he did them and made me really proud. I realized that he is much braver than I thought.
Galapagos from the air

Galapagos has a different adventure for each day, there are so many activities and incredible places that you can't make it all in one trip, for sure (we only stay in two islands). For some places you have to take a tour, and they are a little expensive. Even so, it's worth it... they leave the port very early, and they give you breakfast and lunch in the boat (so delicious), and take you to beautiful places between mangroves and ocean, white sand beaches and nature.

In Galapagos they take nature care very seriously, so, all places seem to be virgin. You can´t touch a thing or take with you even a little seashell.

During the tour, sudenly, the boat stops in the middle of the ocean and throw you into the sea. Gastón could not swim so well, but, armed only with a little life jacket and a snorkel, he just jumped into the water. There, we swam between sea turtles that moved quitly. They, like all the creatures on the islands, aren't afraid of people, so they interact very naturally with humans, speacially kids. They approach you so much that we almost hit one (they don´t see so good either).

In the same spot we could swim amongs sharks. I always thought that would be a scary experience, but it wasn't. You feel safe and very peacefully.

We did the tour with other people and at the end, a lady said to me "you're a good mom" (in English). I smile every time I remerber that.
This is only one of the things we did there. I haven´t mentioned the food, the people, the giant tourtles, the stories, etc. etc...

I think Galapagos is a place where they have learned how to balance tourism (their principal economic activity) and respect for nature, in the last decades (because a taxi driver told me that they used to cook a delicious turtle soup, haha).

At the end of the trip we became very much closer <3...

Vietnam
First of all I'd like to say that I love to travel. I've been in countries that are so beautyful and their people is amazing, like Bolivia (you HAVE to visit Uyuni's salar, the most beautyful place where I've been), or Galápago's Island (where you can swim between sharks and see giant turtles, and the nature is really protected. I went whit my child, so I can say that is a go-whith-child place). Argentina is a nice country as well, and the number one experience: Uruguay.
Next country that I'd like to visit is Vietnam. I don't know why, and when it started, but I've always loved Asia. Of course, their culture is amazing and the landscapes are awesome, and so different from ours. But Vietnam have another atractive: Its history. Vietnam have lived several warriors and its people have resisted all. Their lider Ho Chi Minh was a icon of peace. I leave a picture of the tunnels where thay lives during the Vitnam warrior.

I'd like to go only for vacations because I think the culture is so much different, and I'm not sure that I can used to live there.

my BFF??? mmmm...

Mi best friend
It's funny to think about best friends. Maybe because we always think in the tv friends tipe, who see each other every day and know all about each other. Or maybe we think about the person who is always there for you, or the person with whom you have more fun... I have a lot of friends, and I have a lot of very good friends. I have friends who love me and take care of me, and friends whom I have so much fun. I have friends that i haven't seen them for a long time, but when we meet, it seems like yesterday.
But...
When the teacher order us this work, one person came to my mind. His name is Axel, and I dreamed about him last night. In my dream, he was super sad, and crying because he had his heart broken. Then, I hugged him for a long time. In the morning I wrote and ask him how he was. Fortunately, he was ok. But, this dream made me realize how much I care about him (and it is a lot).
We met each other over 20 years ago, in a beach called Pucón. We had 11 years old and he fell in love with me. In those years we didn`t have emails, or cellphones. He lived in Temuco and I lived in Santiago, but he used to come every winter holydays, to my birthday... Over the years we lost each other. He went to live to Barcelona and I never heard of him, until last year, when I looked him in Facebook, and finally we found again.
The most precious moment that I remerber of us is this: in our summer vacation, when we had like 18 years old, we were hitchiking to Chiloé.
We were camping in Ancud, and we heard some music. It was a free concert of "Los Jaivas" (then, Gato Alquinta was still alive). It was on the beach, at night and the moon was full. You could hear the sound of the waves between the music and felt the cool breeze in your face... now, I can´t remember it and do not laught, because it was so magical...
I have a lot of best friends, caring friends, funny friends, old friends, but, today, when i had to think about the best one, i thought about him.
